Invitation Cards

Here are two cards I made tonight, with the Cricut Expression, and “Stampin’ Up!” supplies.

I used “Stampin’ Up!” cardstock, SU stamps, SU punches, and the Expression, for the pot and stems.  The flower is SU scallop punch, and small circle punch for the flower inside.  Flower pot and stems are from “Walk in my Garden” cartridge for the Cricut.

I cut an 8.5″ x 11″ sheet of cardstock in two, and folded, for the card.  Somehow, the cards didn’t get scored evenly.  So I added a piece of cardstock cut to 5.5″ x 4 1/4″, same size as the card front should be.  I glued this to the inside of the card front.  I cut contrasting color, for this piece, to emphasize the new edge.

The bees are also Cricut.  The ribbon on the pots are from “Oriental Trading”, in a package that I had.  The inside stamp is also SU, from the same set as the outside.

I have to apologize for the bad pictures.  It seems they are not showing the correct colors of red and orange cardstock.  The accent on the flower pot is brown.
